About

Hello fellow freelance writers, editors, and businesses interested in my services! I’m Alicia, 26-year-old freelance writer and editor, and I’m hanging out in my office waiting to fill your writing and editing needs.
In the meantime, a bit about me…
I graduated in 2003 with my Bachelor of Science in English Education from what was then a cozy liberal arts college and has since turned university on me. Since then I’ve held a handful of jobs including substituting high school English and working as a part-time manager for a jewelry and accessories boutique.
If you can’t tell, I’m very well-rounded.
In 2005 I decided to pursue my dream of writing, and have attacked the writing business in much the same manner as I attacked the world of traditional jobs. (Need proof? Check out my current writing jobs, resume, and services offered.)
I specialize in SEO and search engine-friendly writing, and work as a copywriter and editor for various Internet consulting, publishing, and marketing firms.
When I’m not mumbling something over at my personal website and blog, WritingSpark.com, you can read what I’m thinking over at MentalHealthNotes.com, the b5media blog I write and one of my most cherished writing jobs.
Totally self-employed and loving it, though I find I now have little time for my own writing (book, poetry, shorts, contest, article submissions to other magazines - you get the idea), which, well, sucks. Finding more time for my own writing is high on my list of writing goals for 2008.
