Excluding individuals, below are a few examples of the businesses I’ve worked with over the years. Please contact me if you’re interested in similar services.

Online Guru, Inc. develops and operates info-rich, user-centered websites designed to present topics that are important – and often confusing – to everyone and present them in clear, easy-to-understand terms. I’ve worked with Online Guru since 2005 researching, writing, and editing content for their flagship site, DMV.ORG, as well as www.dmvanswers.com and www.unitedstates.org.

DMVDMV.ORG is the privately owned flagship site of Online Guru, Inc. For more than a decade, this A+ BBB accredited business has provided visitors with a virtual guide through the twists and turns of each state’s Department of Motor Vehicles as well as provided invaluable information about the automotive and transportation industry. Such work has landed us features CBS News, NBC Money, Yahoo! Finance, and more.

Psych Central, one of Time.com’s 50 Best Websites of 2008, has been operating since 1995 and is “the Internet’s largest and oldest independent mental health and psychology network.” In 2008, I helped launch – and have since managed – one of the first blogs for the Psych Central’s new network of mental health blogs. Celebrity Psychings is designed to provide insight and commentary into the world of celebrities from a psychological point of view and thus, with any luck, help educate the public about mental health issues.

Cucumber & Company, Inc. is a multi-media company specializing in corporate advertising. C & C provides website and graphic design, video production, and mobile DJ services. I’ve worked with C & C on various projects, including providing product descriptions for e-commerce businesses to Web content for area economic development authority and county commission websites.

Dynamic Page Solutions specializes in building real estate websites that provide supreme search engine visibility and are designed to help each agent create a dominating online presence. I worked with DPS for two years, researching various real estate markets across the country and providing content for agents’ websites that covered everything from the area’s housing market to information about local schools, employment, shopping, dining, and recreation.

b5media is a “leading global lifestyle publisher that facilitates authentic dialog between its editors and dedicated users.” Before that, b5media was one of the world’s largest blog networks and, in 2006, I helped the company launch its first mental health blog, Mental Health Notes, and managed the blog until 2008. Since then, b5media has expanded its properties to include Crushable, The Gloss, Every Joe, and Blisstree – the property into which Mental Health Notes was absorbed.
